On the menu:
Empanadas (mushroom chard) with a small side of coleslaw Our South American inspired empanada meal is one of our most popular meals. Each empanada comes with a side of of delicious home made chimichurri sauce and a small serving of coleslaw. Our empanadas are hand made and filled with sautéed mushrooms and chard and brimming with Monterey Jack and Parmesan cheese!
Empanada Ingredients: Mushrooms, chard, Monterey Jack Cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt, flour, salt, sugar, butter, vinegar, eggs Coleslaw ingredients: green cabbage, radish, green onions, jalapeño, cilantro, sour cream, mayonnaise, cumin, lime, salt, pepper. Growing Leaders is a youth gardening and cooking entrepreneurship program based at Willard Middle School and Berkeley Technology Academy in Berkeley, California. We offer programming for ages 11-18, from 6th grade cooking and gardening and the 7th & 8th grade business elective, to our high school internship program and summer program.
